Test the handles, attachments, seams and bottom with the intended load. Include sharp edges or moisture exposure where relevant. Use the intended paper and construction for approval; an empty sample does not establish carrying performance.

Does a higher paper weight guarantee a stronger bag?
Paper weight is one part of the construction. Handle attachment, seams, bottom reinforcement and bag dimensions also affect the loaded bag. Compare filled samples for the intended use.
What is needed for custom printing?
Send the artwork and required print areas with the bag dimensions. Confirm colours and finish on the intended paper before approval, especially when the paper colour is part of the design.
