Production information for your project

Paper bags and cartons: Paper grade, basis weight, handles, seams, printing and finishing determine the converting specification.
Foodservice packaging: Fiber or paper construction, barriers, capacity, closure and filling conditions guide the product specification.
Molded pulp inserts: Cavity geometry, wall thickness, support points and nesting are developed around the packed product.
Corrugated packaging: Internal dimensions, box style, flute, board grades and the transport route define the outer pack.

Production scope

A paper carton, a molded insert and a food container follow different production processes. Specify the required forming or converting work in the project brief. If a factory audit, equipment list or production-site record is needed for supplier approval, include that requirement with the product and order scope.

From specification to approved sample

Brief: Product drawing or dimensions, quantity, use conditions and delivery destination.
Technical review: Structure, material, tolerances, artwork and tooling requirements.
Sample: Product fit, appearance, assembly and the agreed functional checks.
Order: Approved revision, inspection criteria, packing, documents and production schedule.
Dispatch: Carton marks, counts, weights and loading information.

Production schedule and order documents

Send the required arrival date as well as the order quantity. Sampling, custom tooling, print approval, production and transport are separate stages; the quotation should make their timing clear. Include product documents and inspection needs early so they can be considered in the order plan.
