ARBONYXPACK · Cup and lid pairing
Cup-and-lid compatibility is a pairing decision. Nominal diameter does not fully describe the rim profile, closure engagement or manufacturing tolerances. Order the components as an approved combination.
Identify the two components
Record the cup and lid references, rim dimensions and any drawings available. Use several samples for fit checks. Note the closing technique, engagement around the rim and the effort needed to remove the lid. An isolated empty sample gives only part of the picture.
Reproduce the beverage service
Use the normal beverage, fill level and temperature. Check the combination after the intended holding period and routine carrying. Include cup carriers or delivery bags where they form part of the service. Record the conditions rather than treating a single snap-fit check as full approval.
Keep the pair in the order
Identify both references and required quantities on the purchasing list. Cup and lid case counts may differ, so plan the ratio against use and stock levels. Store an approved set with the material and lining specification for replenishment checks.
Review substitutions
If the cup rim, lid design or either component reference changes, repeat the compatibility review. Similar appearance or a matching stated diameter does not establish equivalence. Ask for the proposed change before releasing a repeat order.
