Food Containers for Takeaway: Match the Pack to Sauce, Temperature and Hold Time

ARBONYXPACK · Takeaway container use

Takeaway containers need to suit the contents from filling through delivery. Sauce, heat, grease and holding time can reveal problems that are invisible in an empty sample. A useful inquiry describes all four.

Record the meal conditions

List the food, portion, liquid or oil exposure and temperature at filling. Give the expected holding period and how the order travels. A short counter-service use and a longer delivery trip should be treated as separate sample conditions where relevant.

Assess the closure

Test the actual base and matching lid or hinged closure. Use the normal packing technique, then observe the filled pack when lifted, stacked and placed in the carry bag. Record where leakage or movement occurs instead of describing the entire pack as unsuitable.

Include stacking and delivery

Pack a representative order, including drinks and accessories. Check the load placed on lower containers, how the bag closes and how the contents are supported. The food container and outer carry pack should be reviewed together.

Turn observations into the RFQ

Send the selected format, usable dimensions or capacity, compartments and closure. Add the food conditions, quantities, print needs and delivery country. Include the performance criteria your team will use to approve samples.
