Description
Hinged molded fiber containers keep the base and lid together for takeaway meals, lunch counters and prepared-food service. Choose the pack around the filled meal, including toppings, headspace and the way it will be stacked for delivery.
Choose the compartment layout and closure
A single cavity leaves room for one large portion. A divided pack keeps meal components apart, but compartment walls reduce the usable space. Check the closed container with the complete meal: a lid that shuts on an empty sample may press against tall or loosely packed food.

Check samples under service conditions
Fill a sample with the actual meal, close it using the normal packing method and check it at the end of the intended holding time. Inspect the hinge, closure, base rigidity and food-contact surface. Repeat the check with the normal stack height and delivery bag. Greasy food, wet sauces and trapped steam need their own assessment.
Questions before ordering
Can one size cover different meals?
Compare the usable space with each portion, rather than choosing from the outside dimensions alone. A divided container also needs enough space in each individual compartment.
Is every fiber container suitable for microwaving?
Microwave use needs item-specific instructions and supporting test information. The material name or a compostability statement alone does not establish suitability.
What determines the order schedule?
The selected construction, quantity, packing and any new artwork or tooling affect the schedule. Include the required arrival date and destination so the quotation can distinguish production time from transport time.
Request a clamshell quotation or request samples. Compare food containers and trays and review product document requirements.
