Capacity with the actual portion
Rice, salad, toppings and sauces use space differently. Trial the usual portion, leave the headspace needed for closing, and keep usable capacity separate from brim-fill capacity.
Bowl and lid specification
Record top and base diameters, height, capacity, material and any surface treatment. For a lidded format, identify both component references and assess the pair using the normal closing technique.
Foodservice and wholesale packing
Send the intended food, filling temperature, holding duration, quantities and destination. Add printing, inner-pack counts, carton packing and sample needs. Order documents should identify the approved construction and any applicable product reports.
Request a quotation or samples. For custom structures and print, see OEM and custom order support.
Product documents and disposal
Food-contact reports, PFAS testing and compostability certificates need to match the ordered bowl construction. A lid made from another material requires its own assessment. Request the report reference and covered product codes with the quotation.
For procurement checks, read our BPI and EN13432 guide, PFAS guide for US buyers and home and industrial composting comparison. Follow the disposal route accepted by the local collector.
